Part Two

Friday my dad and I installed the Bride Zeta II, Bride FO Rail and Takata MPH-341R Harness in the car. The finished product from this setup has really left me speechless. Back before I had my 240 I wanted to use this setup and when it came time to work on the interior I went with Sparco because their products where much cheaper. Everyday afterwards I regretted not going ahead with Bride's but I never came around to swapping them out. Anyway I started building that car on paper when I was 12 so this is this physical realization of a 10 year old dream, probably even a little more longstanding than that even. Satisfaction always takes a lot of patience and a lot of work but as this build comes together in some areas I have a contented appreciation for the art I've tried to fashion. Though I loose weight with the changeover in the seat, the addition of the harness setup nets me a single pound gain over the car before. A very livable situation with a total of 88.2 lbs out of the car totaling of 3209 lbs.

FC3S

It's a rainy Sunday and I wish it were fall. Hopefully the weather will let up enough to get some pictures tomorrow.

Part One

My 2:00 UPS delivery time turned into a 6:00 but who can't be four hours off? Obviously these won't be in the car tonight but if the weather holds I would like to have everything in tomorrow afternoon. Additional pictures and info forthcoming.

Sky Phenomena

Here is a classic R32 build out of the U.K. There is a little foreshadowing from this car to my own but I won't expound on the specifics, that will become obvious well down the road. In the meantime I'm still waiting on parts.

The Colossus

Some questions that I just can't find answers to for today; why was I scheduled alone for five hours, why did I leave late, and why must the UPS man attempt delivery four minutes before I came home. Sigh, sigh sigh. Should things be better tomorrow, I will be able to pick up my package and instal the goods. And get some pictures.

A few years ago I really lost interest in doing much with the STi, even keeping it was questionable. I had almost overdosed on show cars, internet builds, and magazine offerings and in the process my automotive gluttony had reached a point where nothing really interested or impressed me. When I found this S2000 I erased the mod list I was half-interested in and decided to create what my ability can form into an equally balanced STi. Without seeing this realized project, I don't think I would have gone much further with mine.
