Root Beer Levin

Ranking as my second favorite Levin, not only does this car illustrate a prestigious upkeep of paint and body, the real story is under the hood. Exterior wise, the car sports a full CBY widebody and front and rear bumpers. Adding a subtle flow to the exterior is the classic TRD rear hatch. Offsetting the root beer two-tone, the beautifully subtle Panasport wheels add timeless design to the car and bridge the gap between the 86 and more traditional 60-70 vintages. Inside is fairly business, with the car receiving a Sparco drivers seat, while other seats are deleted, as well as a Nardi steering wheel. Under the hood is sheer art. The car is powered by an NA 3SGTE build, a difficult swap by the best standards. In addition, the motor receives HKS cams, cam gears, as well as forged pistons, rods, and the gorgeous custom individual throttle bodies. The combination results in a flat tuned [highly unaggressive] 230 whp, a doubling of horsepower from the stock 115. Sadly I saw this car for sale not too long ago, not sure if he was able to sell it off but it's hard to imagine it will stay as well cared for.
