Motor Sport Japan: Festival Odaiba

Taking place in Odaiba, the Motor Sport Japan Festival is one of the more unique events to happen across the waters. Whereas most other meetings usually focus on one particular brand or aftermarket tuned street going vehicles, the Motor Sport show is a comprehensive look into Japan and GT racing. Each manufacture brings along a lineup of their racing efforts, or more accurately, each brand attempts to show that it too competes against Nissan. For just as Subaru stands with unrivaled support of the rally enthusiast, Nissan embodies the Japanese GT racing spirit, and does so with a history book of first place racing cars. One other unique difference in this show is that it is fairly child focused, with lots of games and events to start and keep interest in racing with the Japanese children. I wish I could have changed magnesium TE37s on the NSX when I was a toddler but such is life. Also of interest, STi returns to JGTC with their Legacy platform. I'm more than excited about that.
