Family Love

There is a concept imbedded in the psyche of any true car enthusiast, that no matter how well super cars perform there is an almost tangible awesomeness in purposeful alteration and modification of whatever vehicle you have at your disposal. Most people will never be able to buy a Porsche or Ferrari, and as great as those cars are isn't it breathtaking to see them outgunned by the underdog? An old BMW, Nissan, Subaru, make is really irrelevant; the true value is the end products performance. Few countries attack the issues of sensibility and racing as flamboyantly well as Japan. This build utilizes the Subaru Legacy wagon chassis, and literally expands it into an all encompassing track monster. The exterior is sourced from a combination of custom and Varis pieces intended for the GDB sedan [U.S. STi], beautifully augmented to fit the lines of the Legacy. The wheels are a set of Advan RC-II in gold from the stock body dyas, and 9.5" wide Volk CE28Ns in bronze; both offering stunning spoke curvature to offset the flared body. Aside from an obvious Recaro bucket and a mean custom roll cage, I could find no other info on the car quite sadly. With a front mount intercooler in use, it is almost certainly running an aftermarket turbo, but any hard data on model or performance is out. I did find a slip from Tsukuba putting it in the 1:03 second range, extremely impressive for a car that should be close to 1:30 stock.
